Kamweko Village was the first women's group to join the Africa Bags empowerment project over 18 years ago, and today, they are making history once again!  They are now the first tailor group to grow a plot of organic cotton as part of our Greening Malawi initiative.  These incredible women are off to an impressive start, embracing sustainable farming with dedication and skill. After the first harvest, we will provide training to transform the cotton into organic thread and organic cloth, which will be used to produce Africa Bags and Africa Pads.  This is a huge step toward sustainability, empowerment, and self-sufficiency!
